Tokyo sketches...

We just came back from a trip to Japan to visit Yuko's family.
Here are a some of the sketches I've done in my little Moleskine sketchbooks: mostly very quick ones as we ran around all the time.
I used a classic big marker (round tip) and a brush pen (love those ones!).

Thanks Yann and see you soon in rainy London! :)

Thanks Simon! Yes this old lady was hard to follow as she wouldn't stop moving and walking around the supermarket and didn't seem to know what she was looking for ;)
See you soon at Dneg, I hope you guys had a nice and relaxing time.

Fantastic stuff! My wife and I had our honeymoon in Japan Just last Feb-March and I did some sketches while I was there too. I had the opportunity to sketch some Sumos riding the Shinkansen, which is my favorite of the bunch.

This was all with marker and pen brush?

Thanks Ryan :)
Your Japan and great wall sketches are very nice and loose too.
Those sketches were made directly with markers or brush pens for all the blacks. I just added the greys in Photoshop.
