I am not allowed just yet to post any of the concept work I've done on Cloud Atlas or most of the projects I've worked on this year but in the meantime, here are a couple of sketches. They were done at the Wallace collection where we've been with Simon this weekend.

Armour sketches
It's been a while since my last post as I've been very busy at Method working on some exciting stuff :)
I won't be able to show anything from this project before a while but here are a couple of sketches I've done this Sunday while at The Wallace Collection with my good friend Simon.
The little Japanese red stamp is the phonetic interpretation of my name "Philippe". This stamp was a great gift from Yuko's Mum that she got made by a craftman and artist in Izumo-taisha (出雲大社 Izumo Grand Shrine.
Hope you like them, I'll try and post more regularly from now on, including more film work ;)

Moebius/Jean Giraud passed away today...
JeanHenriGastonGiraud/Moebius/Gir
(8 May 1938 – 10 March 2012)
It is very hard to express how much he meant to me as an artist and surely to several generations of artists around the globe.
He constantly reinvented himself throughout his long and prolific career and has been part or influenced some of the most iconic movies of all time such as Alien, Tron, Blade Runner, the Abyss... etc as well as being an amazing comic book artist and illustrator (The Incal, Arzach, Blueberry...).
I still can't believe he's gone but he will without any doubt continue to influence generations of artists to come...
